Himatsingka Seide Reappoints Chairman and MD

D.K. Himatsingka is reappointed as Executive Chairman, starting from 1st June 2023 for a tenure of five years. D.K. Himatsingka is the founder of  Himatsingka Seide Ltd and he is the  Executive Chairman and director of the company since 1985. As an industrialist, he pioneered luxury home textile manufacturing in India.

Shrikant Himatsingka, aged 43 years, has been reappointed as Managing Director & CEO of the Company and has been a Director of the Company since June 2003.

Shyam Powar is appointed as the new additional director of  Himatsingka Seide Ltd starting from 30th May 2023. He is the Founder of a leading investment bank named Allegro Advisors. The company provides a complete range of financial advisory services to marquee Indian corporates, financial institutions, family offices, and professionals. He has almost 30 years of experience in different fields of corporate function roles and is also an expert in the fields of Mergers & Acquisitions, Debt Restructuring & Take outs, Private Equity, and IPO advisory.

Himatsingka Seide Ltd’s Non-Executive Independent Director, Rajiv Khaitan has resigned from the company on 30th May 2023 because of personal reasons.
