
Hilary Maxson Appointed As CFO Of Oracle After Workforce Reduction
Oracle has appointed Hilary Maxson as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), days after reducing its workforce by about 30,000 employees globally, including around 12,000 in India.
Maxson has previously served as Executive Vice President (EVP) and Group CFO at Schneider Electric from 2017, where she supported the company’s shift toward digital energy and software-led operations. Earlier, she spent over a decade at AES Corporation, working on finance, strategy, and mergers and acquisitions (M&A) linked to infrastructure investments. She is a finance leader with experience across energy, infrastructure, and technology sectors. Maxson holds a bachelor’s degree and an MBA from Cornell University. She also serves as a non-executive director and chairs the audit committee at Anglo American plc.
