Henrique Braun To Take Over As Coca-Cola CEO; James Quincey To Become Executive Chairman

The Coca-Cola Company has elected Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer (EVP & COO) Henrique Braun as Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective March 31, 2026. He will succeed James Quincey, who will move to the role of Executive Chairman after nine years as CEO.

The board also plans to nominate Braun for election as a director at the 2026 Annual Meeting of Shareowners.

Braun has been serving as EVP & COO since January 2025. He previously served as President for International Development and has led operating units across Latin America, Brazil, Greater China, and South Korea. Braun joined Coca-Cola in 1996 and has worked in supply chain, marketing, innovation, general management, and bottling operations across multiple regions. He holds degrees in agricultural engineering, science, and business administration.

Quincey became CEO of The Coca-Cola Company in 2017 and Chairman in 2019. He joined the organisation in 1996 and has held senior leadership roles across Europe, Mexico, and Latin America. Before becoming CEO, he served as COO and President, and earlier led the Europe Group and the Northwest Europe and Nordics business unit. Quincey is a director of Pfizer Inc. and a board member of The Consumer Goods Forum.
