HCL Infosystems Appoints Rita Gupta As Non-Independent Director; Ritu Arora Retires As Independent Director
Rita Gupta has been appointed as Non-Executive Non-Independent Director (Additional Director) of HCL Infosystems Limited with effect from February 07, 2025, subject to the approval of shareholders.
Meanwhile, Ritu Arora, Independent Director of the company, will retire on completion of her term with effect from April 05, 2025.
Rita Gupta has over 30 years of experience in finance, covering business finance, controllership, treasury, risk management, and strategic initiatives. She has spent most of her career at HCL, contributing to the development of existing and new businesses. Her work spans financial planning, fundraising, investment management, forex, and business finance. In addition to her role at HCL, she has been involved with the Shiv Nadar Foundation, managing investment planning and strategy during its initial phase. She is a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and holds a law degree. Her experience includes overseeing financial functions that support business operations and long-term planning.
