Hatsun Agro Products Appoints J. Shanmuga Priyan As MD

The Board of Directors of Hatsun Agro Products Limited has approved the appointment of J. Shanmuga Priyan as an Additional Director designated as the Managing Director (MD) and Key Managerial Personnel (KMP) for five years w.e.f. September 12, 2024. Subject to the approval of shareholders.

The Board has approved the appointment of C. Subramaniam as the Company Secretary and Compliance Officer (Key Managerial Personnel) as of September 14, 2024.

The company has also informed that Tammineedi Balaji, Independent Director and Dr. Chalini Madhivanan Independent Woman Director, will complete their second and final term on September 22, 2024.

Meanwhile, D. Sathyanarayan has tendered his resignation from the position of Non-Executive Non-Independent Director due to personal commitments with effect from September 12, 2024.

Panchapagesan Vaidyanathan has tendered his resignation from the position of Non-Executive Non-Independent Director of the Company due to personal commitments with effect from September 12, 2024.

J. Shanmuga Priyan, 46, is a postgraduate in commerce and possesses rich experience in the dairy industry and served in various positions in Hatsun Agro Product Ltd. over a period of more than two decades.

C. Subramaniam, 49, is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) and a member of the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of India (ICMAI). He has over 26 years of experience in Secretarial, Capital Market, Corporate Finance. He has worked around 20 years in Shanthi Gears Ltd.; he has also worked in Sakthi Finance Ltd. He was the Chairman of the ICSI-SIRC Coimbatore Chapter during the year 2012.
