Hardeep Singh Ahluwalia’s Term As Executive Director At Canara Bank Extended

Canara Bank has extended the tenure of Hardeep Singh Ahluwalia as Executive Director, effective February 7, 2026.

Ahluwalia began his banking journey on March 30, 1992, as an Agricultural Field Officer at Allahabad Bank (now Indian Bank). With over three decades of experience across rural, urban, metro, and international geographies, including Hong Kong, he has served in key roles such as Lead District Manager, Zonal Head Chandigarh, FGM/CGM Kolkata, and Head of International Branch. He also presided over the Indian Bank Cultural & Sports Committee. Before his elevation as Executive Director of Canara Bank, he was General Manager of the Recovery Department at Indian Bank. He is a graduate in agriculture and a Certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers. Ahluwalia also holds certifications in Credit Management from NIBM Pune and Computer Applications in Financial Management.
