Guy A. Metcalfe, former Morgan Stanley Global Chairman joins the CBRE Board

Guy A. Metcalfe, Morgan Stanley’s former global Chairman has been named to the Board of Directors at CBRE, a Dallas-based company, with effect from February 26.

Metcalfe served Morgan Stanley for over 30 years, playing a significant role in advising clients on transactions exceeding $850 billion. He served as a strategic advisor to CBRE, contributing to key capital-raising mergers, acquisitions, and capital markets deals. Metcalfe’s expertise extends to transformative real estate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions involving prominent companies. His experience covers initial public offerings, follow-on offerings, private capital raises, and debt offerings. He will be up for election at CBRE’s next annual stockholder meeting, expanding the board to 12 directors. Apart from his corporate role, he is involved with nonprofit boards such as the Child Mind Institute and serves as a real estate advisor to the Partnership Fund for New York City.
