
Gunjan Kedia To Become CEO Of U.S. Bancorp, Succeeding Andy Cecere
U.S. Bancorp has announced that President Gunjan Kedia will assume the role of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) after the company’s annual meeting of shareholders with effect from April 15, 2025.
Kedia joined the bank in 2016, has been elected to the Board of Directors, and will succeed Andy Cecere, who will continue as Executive Chairman.
Kedia has nearly 30 years of experience in financial services, having held executive roles at State Street Financial and BNY. Cecere, who has served as CEO since 2017, highlighted Kedia’s leadership and strategic execution. The transition plan will be implemented over the next three months. Kedia expressed her commitment to building on the company’s foundation of integrity and growth.
