Gulf oil Lubricants India ltd re-appoints Ravi Chawla as MD & CEO

Ravi Shamlal Chawla has been reappointed as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (MD & CEO) of Gulf Oil Lubricants India Limited for an additional three-year term starting from June 6th, 2023. Currently serving as the MD & CEO, he has been instrumental in leading Gulf Oil India’s lubricant business for more than 15 years. Under his leadership, Gulf Oil has achieved remarkable growth, becoming one of the country’s top and fastest-growing lubricant brands. With over 23 years of experience in the lubricants industry, including his previous role in Pennzoil India, He has demonstrated expertise in driving business performance and delivering value to customers and stakeholders. His extensive professional background spans various sectors such as FMCG, Tyres, Luggage, Photographic consumables, and Tractors, providing him with a diverse range of knowledge and experience. His strengths lie in people and strategy development, as well as executing initiatives that consistently align with the organisation’s business plans. He completed his Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Sydenham College and pursued a Master’s degree in Management Studies with a specialisation in Marketing from Mumbai University.
