Gufic Biosciences appoints Kamal Seth as Independent Director

Kamal Kishore Seth has been appointed as an Additional Non-Executive Independent Director of Gufic Biosciences Limited for five years, with effect from June 27, 2024, subject to the approval of the shareholders.

Kamal Kishore Seth has over four decades of experience in several multinational companies (MNCs) such as Wyeth Pharmaceuticals, Hindustan Unilever, Reliance Industries, and Reliance Infrastructure in roles such as the functional areas of finance, planning, commercial, marketing, risk management, business management, investment, and general management with profit centre responsibilities in various sectors including drugs and pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, FMCG, fibre and petrochemicals, energy, infrastructure, and real estate. He is also on the Board of IPCA Laboratories. He is a Commerce and Law Graduate, a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), and a qualified Company Secretary from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI). He holds a diploma in managerial accounting and tax management from the Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai.

Another development company’s Whole-Time Director and Key Managerial Personnel (KMP) Dilip Ghosh, has resigned from the post on June 27, 2024.

The Board has also decided to reconstitute the Audit and Stakeholders Relationship Committees due to the expiry of the second term of Dr. Rabi Sahoo, Independent Director.
