Godrej Consumer Products appoints Tata Motors’ Aasif Malbari as CFO

Aasif Malbari has been appointed Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Godrej Consumer Products Limited (GCPL), effective August 10, 2023. Currently holding the positions of CFO at Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Limited and Director at Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Limited, Aasif Malbari has been a key member of Tata Motors’ leadership team, overseeing the significant growth of the Passenger Vehicle India business. He led the reorganisation of the company into two new legal entities and successfully raised a $1 billion fund for the Electric Vehicle Business. In the same transition, Sameer Shah, the current CFO of GCPL, will assume a Group role overseeing consumer investments.
