Gland Pharma Welcomes Shyamakant Giri As CEO

Shyamakant Giri has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Gland Pharma Limited with effect from January 16, 2025. Srinivas Sadu will continue to be the Executive Chairman of the company and support the company’s next phase of growth.

Giri has over 25 years of experience working with leading companies across Asia, Africa, MENA, and Latin America in the fields of pharmaceuticals, devices, diagnostics, and healthcare services. He has been the Managing Director & President (India Business & Emerging Markets) at Amneal Pharmaceuticals, overseeing its commercial growth and expansion in India and globally. Before this role, Giri served as the Chief Executive Officer at Rivaara Labs. He also worked at Abbott India, AbbVie (India Region), and Abbott Diagnostics for over 18 years, holding various positions during his tenure.
