Four Independent Directors of K.C.P. Limited Have Retired

V.H. Ramakrishnan, P.S. Kumar, Vijay Sankar, and M. Narasimhappa, Non-Executive Independent Directors of K.C.P. Limited, have retired from the Board on completion of their second term of five years.

V.H. Ramakrishnan is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) with over 35 years of experience in domestic and international banking. He retired as a general manager of the Bank of India. Post-retirement, he was a shareholders’ Director at Andhra Bank for 6 years, from 2006 to 2012. He was also a director in a few companies as a nominee for UTI and IDBI. Canara Bank had also appointed him as a director in the joint venture, Canara Rebeco AMC Ltd., for a period of about 4 years. Currently, he serves on the Boards of Sagar Cements Ltd. and Sagar Cements (R) Ltd..

P.S. Kumar is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) and also the ICAI. He is a practicing Chartered Accountant and the Managing Partner of the Bangalore office of M/s. Brahmayya & Co. He has served as President of the Andhra Chamber of Commerce. He is also a member of the Executive Committee of the International Chamber of Commerce (Indian Branch) and the Sub-Committee for Corporate Laws and Legal Affairs of FICCI in New Delhi. He is an Independent Director of Sri Sarvaraya Sugars Ltd.

Vijay Sankar is a fellow of ICAI, is the Deputy Chairman of The Sanmar Group, and serves as an Independent Director on the Boards of Oriental Hotels Ltd., Kaveri Retreats & Resorts Ltd., and Transport Corporation of India Ltd. He is the President of the Indian Chemical Council and Vice President of the Tamil Nadu Tennis Association. He also serves as the Honorary Consul General of Denmark in Chennai, overseeing Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Kerala, Karnataka, and the Union Territory of Puducherry. Previously, he was the Honorary Consul for Spain in Chennai for nearly a decade.

M. Narasimhappa, an Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officer, held various key positions. He has received awards for excellence in tax administration from the Management Association of Pune and the Delhi Telugu Academy. Currently, he is Chairman of the Board of Directors at Eesavyasa Technologies Pvt. Ltd. and serves as a Director at Eesavyasa Agrotech Pvt. Ltd., Amara Raja Power System Ltd., and Vijay Nirman Pvt. Ltd. He holds a Master’s Degree from Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati.
