Former Coal India Chairman Agrawal Appointed Independent Director of Century Plyboards

Century Plyboards (India) Limited has appointed Pramod Agrawal as an Additional Director in the Independent category for a period of five years, w.e.f. April 1, 2024. He is appointed in place of Shri J.P. Dua, whose present (second) term expires on March 31, 2024.

A former IAS officer of the Madhya Pradesh cadre, Pramod Agrawal, also serves as the Chairman on the Board of BSE Limited. Agrawal served as Coal India Chairman from February 2020 to June 2023. Prior to joining Coal India, he was Principal Secretary of the Department of Technical Education, Skill Development, and Employment and the Department of Labour, Government of Madhya Pradesh.

He holds a BTech degree in civil engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Mumbai and an MTech in design engineering from IIT Delhi.
