Estée Lauder Appoints Stéphane de La Faverie as President and CEO, Succeeding Fabrizio Freda
The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. has appointed Stéphane de La Faverie as its new President and CEO, effective January 1, 2025. De La Faverie will succeed Fabrizio Freda, who is retiring after over 16 years with the company.
De La Faverie, currently Executive Group President, oversees multiple brands in Estée Lauder’s portfolio, including Estée Lauder, Jo Malone London, The Ordinary, and Le Labo. With over 25 years in the industry, he previously served as General Manager of Giorgio Armani Beauty USA at L’Oréal and held senior roles with Lancôme in Australia and the U.S. He holds a degree from ESC Bordeaux Business School and is fluent in French, English, and Spanish.
