Emami Reappoints Anjanmoy Chatterjee, Avani Davda & Rajiv Khaitan As Independent Directors

The shareholders of Emami Limited have approved the reappointment of Anjanmoy Chatterjee, Avani Davda, and Rajiv Khaitan as Independent Directors for five years, with effect from August 2, 2024.

Anjanmoy Chatterjee is the founder of Sepciality Restaurant. He is a graduate of the Institute of Hotel Management (IHM), Kolkata. He is an industrialist and business leader with experience and expertise in the fields of advertising and hospitality.

Avani Vishal Davda is the former CEO of Tata Starbucks. She has an MBA from NMIMS and a bachelor’s degree from H.R. College of Commerce and Economics. She is a business leader with diverse experience in operating and leadership roles across the consumer, retail, and hospitality industries.

Rajiv Khaitan, based out of Bangalore, is a Senior Partner of Khaitan & Co. LLP in the Corporate & Commercial practice group. He is a LL.B. from the University of Calcutta. He has a broad range of experience in corporate, tax, contracts, real estate, business, intellectual property rights laws, and other regulatory matters.
