Emami Ltd appoints Sandeep K Sultania as the CS
Sandeep Kumar Sultania has recently taken on the role of Company Secretary (KMP) and Compliance Officer at Emami Limited. With the departure of A K Joshi, Sultania will assume these important responsibilities. He brings a wealth of qualifications, including being a Chartered Accountant, Company Secretary, Cost & Management Accountant, and Master in Business Finance (MBF). He also holds a Diploma in Information and System Audit (DISA) and is affiliated with professional associations such as the Direct Taxes Professionals’ Association (DTPA).
Debabrata Sarkar, with his extensive banking experience spanning 35 years, has been re-appointed as an Independent Director at Emami Limited. Sarkar previously served as the Chairman & Managing Director of Union Bank of India and received the prestigious “Banker of the Year” award during his tenure. Currently, he also holds the position of Independent Director at Hinduja Leyland Finance Limited. Sarkar’s re-appointment is a testament to his valuable insights and expertise in the banking sector.
Dr. (h.c) Mamta Binani, a renowned advocate and consultant specializing in restructuring and corporate matters, has also been re-appointed as an Independent Director at Emami Limited. Having served as the National Past President of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI), Dr. Mamta Binani is an experienced advocate and consultant. She is also a registered Insolvency Professional and holds significant positions, including Vice President of the Kolkata National Company Law Tribunal Bar Association.
