E.I.D.-Parry Announces Early Retirement of Managing Director S. Suresh

The Board of Directors of E.I.D.-Parry (India) Limited, on August 17, 2024, approved the early retirement of S. Suresh as Managing Director (MD) of the company with effect from August 31, 2024. Consequent to the early retirement of S. Suresh, Muthiah Murugappan, Whole-Time Director and Chief Executive Officer, will be Key Managerial Personnel (KMP) of the company with effect from September 1, 2024.

Since August 2014, S. Suresh has been working with Murugappa Group. He has 26 years of experience. In addition, he serves as MD of Parry Sugars Refinery India Pvt. Ltd. (a subsidiary of E.I.D. Parry). He holds a degree in mechanical engineering, a postgraduate diploma in industrial engineering, and an MBA with a specialisation in finance.
