Dr. Vikas Gupta Appointed CEO of Alkem Lab

The Board of Directors of Alkem Laboratories Limited has appointed Dr. Vikas Gupta as CEO (Chief Executive Officer) of the Company with effect from September 22, 2023.

Gupta has over 2 decades of experience in the Pharmaceutical Sector and brings expertise across therapeutic areas including Acute, Chronic, Metabolic and Respiratory. He also has demonstrated the capability of leading business transformation across various geographies. His expertise includes delivering profitable and sustainable top lines by driving teams, devising innovative sales and marketing plans and creating mega brands. He also has a proven track record of successfully launching new businesses as well as spearheading growth in established ones. He holds an M.B.B.S degree from the University College of Medical Sciences, Delhi University.
