Dr. Om Prakash Manchanda Will Retire As MD Of Dr Lal PathLabs

At its meeting on October 23, 2024, the Board of Directors of Dr Lal PathLabs Limited acknowledged that Dr. Om Prakash Manchanda will step down as Managing Director (MD) upon the completion of his tenure on March 31, 2025. However, he will continue to serve as an Advisor to the company.

Dr. Manchanda began his career with the Unilever Group (now HUL) in 1990, where he held various roles for over a decade. In 1999, he joined Monsanto India Ltd., followed by a position at Ranbaxy Laboratories Ltd. In 2005, he joined Dr Lal PathLabs. He holds a Master’s degree from IIM Ahmedabad and has completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School. He is also a graduate of HAU Hisar.

Dr. Manchanda has been recognised with numerous awards, including the ‘EY Entrepreneur of the Year’ in Healthcare and Life Sciences in 2019 and ‘Healthcare Personality of the Year’ in 2020.
