Dr Archana Majumdar Retires As Independent Director Of MOIL

Dr Archana Majumdar retires as an Independent Director of Moil Limited on the completion of her tenure with effect from March 23, 2025.

Dr Majumdar is part of the Central Health Service Cadre, 1985 batch, with over 30 years of experience in office and public administration, research, and management at MOHFW. She is currently Editor-in-Chief of the Indian Medical Journal and Vice President of Bharat Scouts & Guides, W.B. She has worked at RLTRI Gouripur, Bankura, WB, and served as SMO, CMO, CGHS (MOHFW). She has chaired the Internal Committee on Sexual Harassment in the Eastern Region, Government of India. Dr. Majumdar holds an M.B.B.S. from NRS Medical College & Hospital, Kolkata. She has completed courses in residency and senior residency at NRSMCH and an M.D. in Alternate Medicine sponsored by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MOHFW). She also holds a hospital administration certification from WHO at AIIMS Delhi and a disaster management certification from WHO sponsored by MOHFW.
