Dr. Andrew Ng Named a Directors of Amazon

The Managing General Partner of AI Fund, Dr. Andrew Ng, will be joining Amazon’s Board of Directors with effect from April 9, 2024.

Dr. Ng brings a wealth of experience, having founded and led various ventures in the fields of artificial intelligence (AI) and education technology. He is renowned globally for his contributions to AI and his extensive work in machine learning and deep learning algorithms. With his background as Chief Scientist at Baidu and his role as a founding lead at Google’s Google Brain Project, Dr. Ng’s expertise will provide valuable insights into the opportunities and challenges presented by AI. His appointment reflects Amazon’s commitment to fostering diverse perspectives at all levels of the company.

Additionally, Judy McGrath has announced her decision not to seek re-election to the Board.
