DOPT approves 12 Executive Directors for PSBs

The union government on Saturday approved the appointment of Executive Directors for Public Sector Banks. A total of 12 names have been approved. Earlier in July this year, the Financial Services Institutions Board had recommended 16 names.

According to a Department of Personnel and Training (DOPT) notification, Sanjay Rudra, GM at the Bank of Maharashtra, will join Union Bank as ED. Lal Singh, CGM, Union Bank, will move to Bank of Baroda as ED. BP Mahapatra, CGM, PNB has been promoted at the same bank. Shiv Bajrang Singh, CGM at Bank of India, will move to Indian Bank as ED.

Other appointments include Ravin Mehta at Punjab and Sindh Bank, Rajiv Mishra at Bank of India, Bhavendra Kumar at Canara Bank, Brajesh Kumar Singh at Indian Bank, Rohit Rishi at Bank of Maharashtra, Mahendra Dohre at Central Bank of India, Dhanraj T. at Indian Overseas Bank, and Vijay Kumar Nivrutti Kamble has been appointed at UCO Bank as Executive Directors.
