DLF Appoints Lt. Gen. Ajai Singh as Independent Director

The Board of Directors of DLF Limited has approved the appointment of Lt. Gen. Ajai Singh (Retd.) as an Independent Director for a period of five years, with effect from April 1, 2024. Subject to the approval of the shareholders.

The Board also approved the reappointment of Rajiv Singh as a whole-time Director designated as Chairman for a period of five years with effect from April 9, 2024, subject to the approval of the shareholders.

The tenure of Ved Kumar Jain and Pramod Bhasin, Independent Directors, would end on March 31, 2024, as per their terms of appointment.

Lt. Gen. Ajai Singh has considerable experience in Strategic Leadership, Governance and Compliance, Risk Management, Team and Institution Building, Strategic Communication, Diversity and Inclusion, Stakeholder Management etc. Singh holds an M.Phil. in Defence and Management Studies, an M.A. in International Security and Strategy, an M.Sc. in Defence Studies, and a Master of Business Administration in Operations Research and Systems Analysis. He was awarded the ‘PVSM’ (Param Vishisht Seva Medal), the highest peacetime award for servicemen by the Hon’ble President, for distinguished service over 40 years, on January 26, 2023.
