Devesh Choudhari Joins Abbott India As Director Of Finance

Devesh Choudhari has been appointed as Director of Finance at Abbott India Limited, effective April 1, 2025. He will be part of the company’s Senior Management team.

Choudhari has 18 years of experience in finance, accounting, structuring, mergers and acquisitions, fundraising, and financial controls. He is currently leading the Indian manufacturing business of Perfect Day, a U.S.-based food biotechnology company, following its acquisition of Sterling Biotech. As CFO, he contributed to business performance and the groundwork for a USD 100 million greenfield project. He played a key role in the strategic sale and joint venture formation with the Zydus Group, later serving as its CFO. At Piramal Group, he gained experience in multi-segment manufacturing setups and equity raises exceeding USD 1.5 billion. He was involved in the USD 4 billion DHFL acquisition and its financial integration. Earlier, he worked with Deloitte in assurance. He is a Chartered Accountant with a Diploma in IFRS.
