Chimanlal K. Mehta The Founder & Chairman Emeritus of Deepak Nitrite Ltd passed away on 3rd July 2023.

C.K. Mehta was a first-generation entrepreneur, pioneer, and innovator with over five decades of diversified experience in the Chemical Trade and Industry. In 1970, he founded Deepak Nitrite by combining his trading and production skills. He grew his business through greenfield expansion as well as the acquisition of other companies. He acquired Sahyadri Dyestuffs and Chemicals unit from Mafatlal Industries in 1984. He also acquired Aryan Pesticides Limited, Roha, and DASDA Division of Vasant Chemicals in Telangana in 2003 and 2007 respectively.
