Deepak Ananthakrishnan Appointed as Global Chief Business Officer of Shalby

Deepak Ananthakrishnan is appointed as Global Chief Business Officer of Shalby Group on January 9, 2024. As Global CBO, he will take over the business responsibility from outgoing Global President and Vice Chairman, Sushobhan Dasgupta, and directly drive business worldwide.

Deepak Ananthakrishnan has more than two decades of leadership experience across industries, including Medical Devices, Telecom, IT, EdTech and MedTech in a variety of leadership roles. Prior to joining Shalby, Ananthakrishnan served in various senior positions at BYJU’s, Johnson & Johnson, Airtel, XSEED Education, Tyco Electronics, etc. He holds a degree in engineering from Mumbai University, a PGDBM from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, and he is an alumnus of INSEAD.
