Deepa Misra Harris Named as Independent Director of PVR Inox

The Board of Directors of PVR Inox Limited has approved the appointment of Deepa Misra Harris as an Additional Director, designated as an Independent Director on the Board of the company, for five years commencing July 25, 2024. She replaced Sanjai Vohra, who has completed his tenure. The company’s shareholders’ approval is still pending.

Deepa Misra Harris is the Founder and CEO of Brands WeLove LLP and has over 30 years of experience. As Head of Sales & Marketing for Taj Hotels, Palaces, Resorts, and Safaris, she led the way across 4 brands and 127 hotels worldwide. She is an experienced marketing professional with stints in the Indian and international markets, having launched new products and hotels in the US, UK, Middle East, and Africa. She has been a member of the Tata Global Brand Council and the Steering Committee of the Experience India Society. She has served on various Taj’s Boards and as a trustee member of the Taj Public Service Trust Fund and GVK EMRI. She has served on CII and FICCI’s tourism entities, FAITH, TAAI, and HAI, during her tenure with the Taj. She worked on the Marketing Advisory Board of Leading Hotels of the World. Featured in Impact’s list of the most influential women in marketing across 3 years and the Business Today list of the most powerful business women for 2 years. She is currently an Independent Director on the boards of Jubilant Foodworks, Prozone Realty, Yatra Online, ADF Foods, and TCPL Packaging. She earned a master’s degree from Lady Sri Ram College and has completed various executive programmes at Cornell and ISB.
