Dai-ichi Karkaria Welcomes Srinivasan Vishwanathan As Independent Director; Reappoints Shernaz Vakil As Chairperson
Srinivasan Vishwanathan has been appointed as an Additional Non-Executive Independent Director of Dai-ichi Karkaria Limited with effect from January 23, 2025, subject to the approval of the members of the company.
Shernaz Vakil has been reappointed as Chairperson and Whole–Time Director, effective April 01, 2025, subject to the approval of the members of the company.
Cyrus Bagwadia has resigned as Independent Director of the company, with effect from January 23, 2025, along with his membership in various committees.
Srinivasan Vishwanathan is an experienced finance leader with a diverse industry background and strong expertise in leadership roles across finance, including IT, legal, M&A, capital raising, and investor relations. He is a Chartered Accountant and a Company Secretary. He has held several key senior positions at Godrej Group Companies. In recognition of his contributions, he was awarded the Financial Express Best CFO Award in the large enterprises category in 2020. Vishwanathan has completed leadership courses from prestigious institutions such as IIM-Ahmedabad, the University of Michigan, and Harvard Business School.
Shernaz Vakil holds an M.A. in Industrial Psychology from Bombay University and an MBA from the U.S.A. She has over 40 years of experience in business, bringing a wealth of knowledge and expertise across various sectors.
