The report attributes rising cybersecurity complexity to technological advancements, geopolitical uncertainty, and regulatory challenges. It also notes the growing cyber skills gap, with 66% of organisations lacking the talent required to meet security demands.
The report emphasises the need for collaboration between the public and private sectors to enhance cyber resilience. Leaders are urged to prioritise proactive strategies, addressing adversarial threats powered by generative AI and increasing regulatory fragmentation.
