CSB Bank’s Independent Director Biswamohan Mahapatra Resigned

Non-Executive Independent Director of CSB Bank Limited, Biswamohan Mahapatra, resigned effective June 14, 2024, due to his other personal and professional commitments.

Biswamohan Mahapatra, a former central banker with 33 years of experience at the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), served as an Executive Director and played a key role in banking regulation, policy matters, and implementing Basel III regulations. He holds a Master of Science in Management from Arthur D. Little Management Education Institute, an MBA in Finance, and a Masters in English Literature. Currently, he serves as an Independent Director on the Boards of Edelweiss Financial Services Ltd., ECL Finance Ltd., and HDFC Credila Financial Services Ltd. Additionally, he is the Non-Executive Independent Chairman of Nido Home Finance Limited, the National Payments Corporation of India, NPCI International Payments Ltd., and NPCI Bharat BillPay Ltd.
