Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals has announced the appointment of Promeet Ghosh as its new Managing Director and CEO

Promeet Ghosh has been named the new Managing Director and CEO of Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals. Ghosh, who has been a member of the company’s board since 2016, will assume his new role on May 1, 2023, and his term will run until April 30, 2028. Prior to this appointment, Ghosh spent two decades as an investment banker and held various directorships across different sectors. He worked with DSP Merrill Lynch for 18 years, where he played a key role in building its M&A franchise. Ghosh was also the deputy head of Temasek India for almost ten years and served as an advisor until March 2023 after leaving his full-time role in March 2022.
