Credit Agricole CIB Appoints Atul Sodhi As Its Senior Country Officer For UK

Credit Agricole CIB has announced the appointment of Atul Sodhi as its Senior Country Officer for the United Kingdom (UK), effective September 1.

Sodhi will report to Georg Orssich, the Senior Regional Officer for Europe (excluding France), and will focus on driving business development and strategy for the bank’s commercial operations in the UK. He will also join the bank’s management committee, Credit Agricole CIB confirmed in a statement.

With over 32 years of banking experience, Sodhi has been with Credit Agricole CIB since 1997. He previously led the bank’s coverage for India from 2004 to 2007 and spearheaded the loan syndication business for Asia-Pacific, based in Hong Kong, from 2007 to 2015. In 2019, he was appointed global head of debt capital markets.
