Computer Age Management Services Appoints Santosh Kumar Mohanty as Independent Director

Computer Age Management Services Limited (CAMS) has approved the appointment of Santosh Kumar Mohanty as an Additional Director for a term of three years, with effect from July 3, 2024. Subject to the approval of the shareholders.

Mohanty started his career with the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) in 1985 and joined the Indian Revenue Service (IRS) in 1991. He joined the IRS as Assistant Commissioner of Income Tax in 1991, became Commissioner of Income Tax in 2012, and held the position until 2013. Further, he joined the Forward Markets Commission (FMC) on deputation and served there as a Director till 2015. He then joined the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) on deputation as an Executive Director and became a Whole member (WTM) of SEBI in 2018, and held the said position till 2023. He holds a Master’s degree in International Studies from Jawaharlal Nehru University and a PG Diploma in Securities Laws from Mumbai University.
