Chris Rogers To Take Charge As Instacart CEO

Instacart announced that Chris Rogers will become Chief Executive Officer (CEO) effective August 15, 2025, reporting to the company’s Board of Directors. He will succeed Fidji Simo, who will remain Chair of the Board to support the leadership transition.

Rogers joined Instacart in 2019 and currently serves as Chief Business Officer, overseeing commercial operations, partnerships, and other business functions. Prior to joining Instacart, he spent nearly 11 years at Apple, including a stint as Managing Director (MD) for Apple Canada. He began his career at Procter & Gamble. He also serves on the Boards of Spins and the Ad Council. Rogers holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University.
