Charanjit Attra COO of Jio Financial Resigned; joins Jio Leasing Services as MD & CEO

Charanjit Surindra Singh Attra, Group Chief Operating Officer and Senior Manager Personnel (SMP) of Jio Financial Services Limited, has tendered his resignation on July 8, 2024. Consequent upon his being appointed as the Managing Director (MD) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Jio Leasing Services Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company, with effect from July 9, 2024.

Since July 3, 2023, Attra has been serving at Jio Finance. He is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and a certified public accountant from Denver, Colorado. Prior to Jio Finance, he was CFO of the State Bank of India (SBI). Earlier, he was a partner at Ernst and Young Associates, a member firm of EY Global. He also has experience working with the ICICI Bank Group in various departments, including operations, IFRS, USGAAP, and SOX implementation.
