Chander Prakash Gurnani Steps Down As Independent Director Of Gillette India

Chander Prakash Gurnani has resigned as an Independent Director of Gillette India Limited, effective January 6, 2026, due to personal reasons and his increasing professional commitments.

Gurnani served as Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director (CEO & MD) of Tech Mahindra until December 2023, leading the company through growth, international expansion, and business transformation. With over 40 years of experience, he has held senior roles at Hewlett-Packard (HP), Perot Systems, and HCL Corporation, gaining expertise in international business development, start-ups, and turnarounds. He was appointed Chairman of NASSCOM in April 2016 for a one-year term, contributing to industry policy and digital initiatives. Known for his strategic leadership, he has guided organisations across the technology and consulting sectors, combining operational expertise with a focus on innovation and global partnerships. Gurnani holds a degree in chemical engineering from the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Rourkela.
