Capgemini Announced Major Leadership Changes
On October 23, 2024, Capgemini announced several strategic leadership changes. Anirban Bose will succeed Jim Bailey as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Americas Strategic Business Unit, effective November 1.
Kartik Ramakrishnan has been appointed CEO of the Financial Services Strategic Business Unit. Jerome Simeon will assume the role of Chief Revenue Officer starting January 1, 2025, and Franck Greverie will step in as Chief Technology Officer.
After an impressive 34-year career at Capgemini, Chief Operating Officer Olivier Sevillia will depart the company at the end of 2024 to pursue new personal endeavours.
Anirban has led Capgemini’s Financial Services Strategic Business Unit and served on the Group Executive Board since 2018. He also managed the Asia Pacific Strategic Business Unit. His earlier roles include leading Capgemini’s Banking and Capital Markets Unit and serving as EVP at Kanbay before its acquisition by Capgemini. He graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology, BHU – Varanasi, and holds an MBA from the University of Chicago.
Kartik, previously Deputy CEO of the Financial Services Strategic Business Unit, has been a member of the Group Executive Committee since 2023. With over 25 years of experience, he holds a bachelor’s degree from the Indian Institute of Technology and a master’s degree from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business.
Jerome, currently Head of Global Industries since 2023, joined the Group Executive Board in 2021. His past roles include CEO of the Southern Europe Strategic Business Unit and Managing Director of Capgemini France. A Capgemini veteran since 1998, he graduated from Toulouse Business School.
Franck, Chief Portfolio Officer since 2018, joined the Group Executive Board in 2020. Before joining Capgemini in 2015, he held senior roles at Bull and Thales Group in cybersecurity and security management. He graduated from ESME and holds an Executive MBA from ESSEC Business School.
