Campbell Wilson To Step Down As CEO Of Air India; Successor Search Ongoing

Campbell Wilson has resigned as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Air India and will remain in the role until a successor is appointed.

Wilson began his career as a management trainee with Singapore Airlines in New Zealand in 1996. He went on to work across markets, including Canada, Hong Kong, and Japan, before returning to Singapore in 2011 as the founding CEO of Scoot, a role he held until 2016. He later served as Senior Vice President (SVP) of Sales and Marketing at Singapore Airlines, overseeing functions such as pricing, distribution, e-commerce, and global sales. He returned as CEO of Scoot in April 2020 for a second term. Wilson holds a Master of Commerce with first-class honours in Business Administration from the University of Canterbury.
