C M Vasudev is an Independent Director of Star Paper Mills Ltd. He has held many prestigious assignments on various boards including chairman of the HDFC Bank Ltd. Mr. Vasudev is a retired IAS officer of the 1966 batch. He served the Ministry of Finance for eight years in various capacities and was also made the government nominee director on the boards of the State Bank of India, IDBI, ICICI, IDFC, NABARD, National Housing Bank, and on the Central Board of the Reserve Bank of India. He also served as Executive Director of the World Bank.
