Brinda Jagirdar Independent Director of Rane Engine Valve Retired

Rane Engine Valve Limited Announced that the Non-Executive Independent Director Brinda Jagirdar has Retired on 22 July 2023.

Senior business economist Brinda Jagirdar is a Mumbai-based independent director. With a focus on research, publication, and consulting, she has experience in banking, macro issues, and financial intermediation.

She serves on the research advisory committee for the Indian Institute of Banking and Finance as well as the National Institute of Bank Management, where she is a visiting faculty member. She served as the State Bank of India’s general manager and chief economist.

She holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Mumbai, an M.S. in Economics from the University of California at Davis in the USA, and an MA in Economics from the Gokhale Institute in Pune. In addition to the Indian Institute of Management in Lucknow, she has taken an executive program at Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government in the United States.
