One day to go, as the countdown to the Board Stewardship Global Corporate Governance Summit 2025 begins. Scheduled for 2nd & 3rd December 2025, 11:30–18:30 hrs, at the iconic Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), this flagship event is now fully registered, and we are truly humbled by the overwhelming response. In partnership with BSE as our Venue Partner, we look forward to welcoming distinguished Board leaders, Independent Directors, regulators and governance thinkers for two days of meaningful dialogue, insights and forward-looking conversations.
As industries confront shifting economic currents, rapid digitalisation, heightened accountability standards, DPDP-driven expectations and evolving stakeholder priorities, the role of Board leadership continues to extend far beyond oversight. Opening Day: Setting the Tone for Board Conversation
Day One, themed “Reimagining the Future Board,” opens with a Welcome Address by Vikesh Wallia, Managing Director & Editor, Board Stewardship, setting the strategic context for two days of learning and reflection. This will be followed by the Inaugural Address by G. N. Bajpai, Summit Chair and Former Chairman of SEBI & LIC, who will outline the expanding mandate of Boards in an era shaped by transparency, responsibility and long-term value creation. The session will then move to the Keynote Address by Shailesh Haribhakti, Chairman of the Advisory Board, Board Stewardship, who will further illuminate the evolving expectations and opportunities for modern Boards.
A Special Address by Kamala Kantharaj, Chief Regulatory Officer, BSE, will reinforce the Exchange’s commitment to governance excellence and market integrity. This opening sequence sets the stage for a forward-looking and experience-rich Summit.
A Two-Day Platform for Collective Evolution
The Summit will feature keynote sessions, panel conversations, fireside dialogues and moderated discussions covering a wide spectrum of contemporary Board priorities—Board responsibilities, risk oversight, leadership succession, organisational resilience, sustainability in strategy, decision accountability, director effectiveness, governance culture, and emerging themes such as the DPDP Act.
