Board Stewardship Announces The E-Launch Of Sunil Lulla’s Corporate Reputation Handbook
Board Stewardship hosted a special live webinar on 19th November 2025, marking the e-launch of the book, ‘Corporate Reputation: Handbook on Effective Management for Boards’, authored by Sunil Lulla, Chairman – Astrum Management Advisory, Independent Director, Board Advisor, and Business and Brand Builder. The webinar convened Independent Directors, Board leaders, and governance experts to discuss why reputation stewardship is emerging as a critical Board priority.
The special webinar opened with a Welcome Address by Vikesh Wallia, Managing Director and Editor of Board Stewardship, who remarked, “It is inspiring to see the Board community consistently come together for our monthly dialogues. At Board Stewardship, our purpose remains steady—enabling continuous learning, creating visibility into genuine opportunities, and strengthening meaningful peer connections. When Board leaders grow collectively, governance becomes stronger for everyone.”
This was followed by remarks from Shailesh Haribhakti, Non-Executive Chairman and Independent Director on multiple Boards, who underlined the growing centrality of reputation as an organisational asset. He noted, “What a wonderful experience the Webinar on Corporate Reputation was. An unusual subject was brought alive by Sunil Lulla, Mohit Arora, and the most articulate Ashwani Singla through a most engaged Q&A. Kudos to Board Stewardship, Vikesh Wallia and Ruby Sinha for flawless delivery and a great experience for the many Board members who attended.”
Reflecting on the motivation behind his book, Sunil Lulla said, “The discussion this evening on Corporate Reputation has yielded valuable insights into building a resilient Corporation. Boards have a bigger task ahead of them. Deeply grateful to the panellists and to Board Stewardship for giving this subject its much due significance. Board Directors, there is work to be done!”
Sharing a complementary viewpoint, Ashwani Singla, Founding Managing Partner at Astrum Management Advisory, spoke about reputation as a core Board responsibility. He noted, “Heartiest congratulations to our Chairman Mr. Lulla on the launch of the book. The subsequent discussion was enthralling and engaging with some precious pearls of wisdom combined with practical advice for board directors. Preserving and sustaining corporate reputation today is a board responsibility and needs urgent recognition of the same. Thank you Board Stewardship for this wonderful platform for the dialogue.”
Offering a governance-first perspective, Mohita Arora, Operating Partner at Quest Partners Management Consulting and Independent Board Member, highlighted the importance of values in sustaining credibility. “Independent Directors walk a tightrope—responsible for culture and reputation while staying outside day-to-day operations,” she observed, cautioning that in the digital age, “a single post can erode years of credibility.”
The special webinar reinforced that reputation is a core pillar of governance and that Boards must take a structured, proactive approach to protecting organisational trust. Board Stewardship reiterated its mission to support ethical, informed, and future-ready Board leadership.
