Bikash Prasad To Succeed Anand Vora As Group CFO At UPL

Bikash Prasad has been appointed as Group Chief Financial Officer (Key Managerial Personnel) of UPL Limited, effective June 1, 2025. He will be succeeding Anand Vora, who will cease from the same position effective May 31, 2025, on account of attaining superannuation.

Sujoy Mazumdar has been appointed as Group General Counsel (Senior Management Personnel) of the company, effective June 1, 2025.

Bikash Prasad is a fellow member of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India and a member of the Institute of Management Accountants, USA. He served as President and CFO at Olam Agri during his 19-year tenure with the Olam Group, where he contributed to various strategic and financial initiatives across global markets. He was awarded for academic excellence by the Finance Minister of New Delhi in 1996. He holds an observer seat at IFAC PAIB. He has over 25 years of experience across finance strategy, corporate restructuring, IPO readiness, and digital transformation. His work also covers governance, risk management, ESG, and finance-business partnerships.

Sujoy Mazumdar is a gold medallist from Symbiosis Law College and began his career with RPG Group, handling major litigations and regulatory reforms in the energy sector. In 2000, he joined Schlumberger, taking on leadership roles across India, the Middle East, Europe, and the U.S. He managed legal operations, compliance, M&A, and Corporate Governance, and was involved in contract revenue recovery of USD 200 million and oversight of a USD 10 billion M&A portfolio. His work included leading legal teams through restructuring and supporting risk management and sustainability efforts. At UPL, Sujoy leads legal strategy across 60+ countries, overseeing litigation, M&A, joint ventures, and restructuring while strengthening governance and compliance frameworks for the group.
