Bhaskar Bhattacharya Reappointed As Non-Official Independent Director On PFC Board

The Ministry of Power has reappointed Bhaskar Bhattacharya as a Non-Official Independent Director on the Board of Power Finance Corporation Limited (PFC), effective from the date of notification or until further orders.

Bhattacharya has practised as an Advocate for over three decades. He has also held roles such as Chairman of the Hooghly Tax Advocates Bar Association and General Secretary of the NGO Nibedan. He previously served a three-year term on PFC’s Board, where he was a member of the Audit Committee, Nomination and Remuneration Committee, and Chairman of the Board Level Risk Management Committee. Bhattacharya is a commerce graduate who also holds a law degree and a postgraduate diploma in business management.
