Bharti Airtel Appoints Sharat Sinha as CEO – Airtel Business

Bharti Airtel Limited, India’s leading telecommunications services provider, has appointed Sharat Sinha as the CEO of Airtel Business with effect from June 3, 2024. In this role, Sharat will report to Gopal Vittal and will be a part of the Airtel Management Board.

Sharat Sinha joins Airtel from Checkpoint Software Technologies, where he has served as President APAC, based out of Singapore. A seasoned technology professional, Sharat has worked with various large organisations like Cisco, Palo Alto Networks, and VMWare. He has early experience at VSNL and Ericsson. Sharat has completed his Bachelors in Technology (Electronics Engineering), Masters in Technology (Industrial and Management Engineering), and Doctor of Business Administration from the University of South Australia.
