Bentley’s Chief Adrian Hallmark Appointed CEO of Aston Martin

Former Bentley executive Adrian Hallmark has been named the new CEO of rival luxury British carmaker Aston Martin. The company said on Friday that the 61-year-old will begin his new position no later than October 1. Until then, outgoing leader Amedeo Felisa will continue in his role.

Adrian Hallmark brings with him over 25 years of extremely successful senior automotive experience from working in the US, Europe, and also Asia, working for companies such as Volkswagen, Bentley, and Porsche.

This change in leadership comes amidst a series of shifts for Aston Martin, which has been grappling with losses in recent years, though the losses narrowed in 2023. Hallmark takes over from Felisa, who assumed the role in May 2022 after his predecessor Tobias Moers’ brief tenure.

Hallmark’s tasks include launching Aston Martin’s first hybrid supercar, the Valhalla, addressing production issues with the new DB12 model, and navigating the challenges of transitioning to electric vehicles, an issue faced by many automakers.
