Bandhan Bank Appoints Citi India’s Rajeev Mantri as CFO
The Board of Bandhan Bank has appointed Citi India’s Executive Rajeev Mantri as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with effect from February 22, 2024. He replaced Abhijit Ghosh, who was serving as the interim CFO and KMP, and now Ghosh will serve as Head of Finance and Accounts. Mantri will be key managerial personnel (KMP) of the company and will play a key role in the Kolkata-based private bank.
A banking veteran Mantri has more than 25 years of experience in India, as well as in Singapore and the UAE. He is a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), and he has spent most of the time working at banks like Standard Chartered and Citi. Prior to joining Bandhan Bank, he was with Citi India as CFO for three years. Before that, he worked at TransUnion CIBIL as CFO. He worked at Standard Chartered Bank for more than 15 years in India and Singapore. He also worked at Mashreqbank in the UAE.
