
Banco Products Announces Board Transitions, Appoints New Independent Directors
The Board of Directors has approved the appointment of Pranav Patel and Anand Majmudar as Independent Directors of Banco Products (India) Limited w.e.f. February 08, 2025, subject to the approval of the members through a special resolution proposed to be passed through the postal ballot.
Ameeta V. Manohar has been reappointed as an Independent Director of the company w.e.f. April 25, 2025, subject to the approval of the members through a special resolution proposed to be passed through the postal ballot.
Devesh A. Pathak and Udayan P. Patel ceased to be the Independent Directors of the company with effect from February 13, 2025.
Pranav Patel holds a BSc. in mechanical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), USA. He has over 35 years of experience in managing businesses involved in manufacturing packaging materials and machinery. He has also served as a Director in multiple companies engaged in manufacturing and trading activities.
Anand Majmudar has been practicing law since 1989. He began as a solo lawyer and now manages Anand Majmudar & Associates, a full-service law firm. His practice focuses on trade, commerce, and industry-related disputes and litigation, along with non-litigation areas, asset acquisition deals, corporate transactions, IP law, and arbitration. He has experience appearing in local courts and handling foreign litigation and contract negotiations. He has been a visiting faculty member at the Baroda School of Legal Studies, MS University, for over two decades.
Ameeta V. Manohar has over 30 years of professional experience and has cleared the Information System Audit (I.S.A.) examination conducted by the Institute. After a brief tenure in a company, she started her practice in October 1990 as a proprietor. In July 1998, she joined Vikas A. Manohar & Co., Chartered Accountants, as a partner. Her work includes statutory audits for banks, insurance companies, tax audits across multiple sectors, internal audits, concurrent audits, revenue audits, system audits for nationalised banks, and stock inspections for large borrower accounts. Manohar is a commerce graduate from the University of Mumbai and a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).
