Bajaj Auto Appoints Baminee Viswanat As General Counsel

Baminee Viswanat has been appointed as General Counsel and part of the Senior Management of Bajaj Auto Limited, effective February 19, 2025.

Viswanat has over 32 years of experience in legal strategy, regulatory compliance, and Corporate Governance. She began her career as a litigation practitioner in the High Court of Madras before holding key legal roles at Malladi Group of Companies, Thomson Consumer Electronics, Vijay Television (a Star TV Group subsidiary), Lenovo, and TVS Supply Chain Solutions Ltd. She was recognised among the Top General Counsels by the Society of Law Firms in 2021 and BW Legal World in 2023. Viswanat is a professional associate of ICSI and holds a bachelor’s degree in law and a master’s degree in political science from the University of Madras.
